ตามข้อมูลสำมะโนประชากรของอินเดียปี 2554ดาฟาฮัตมีประชากรทั้งหมด 15,688 คน โดยเป็นชาย 7,817 คน (50%) และหญิง 7,871 คน (50%) ประชากรในช่วงอายุ 0-6 ปี มีจำนวน 3,185 คน จำนวนผู้รู้หนังสือในดาฟาฮัตมีทั้งหมด 7,382 คน (59.04% ของประชากรที่มีอายุมากกว่า 6 ปี) [ 15 ]
