แหล่งถ่านหินจันจราตั้งอยู่ทางด้านตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของแหล่งถ่านหินรานิกานจ์ ห่างจาก ทางหลวงหมายเลข 19 (หมายเลขเดิมคือทางหลวงหมายเลข 2)/ ถนนแกรนด์ทรังก์โร้ดไปทางเหนือ 15 กิโลเมตรและอยู่ห่างจากเมืองดูร์กาปูร์โดย ทางถนนในระยะทางใกล้เคียงกัน [ 1 ]
การขยายตัวของเมือง
จากข้อมูลสำมะโนประชากรปี 2554 พบว่า 79.22% ของประชากรในเขตย่อย Durgapur อาศัยอยู่ในเมือง และ 20.78% อาศัยอยู่ในชนบท เขตย่อย Durgapur มีเทศบาลนคร 1 แห่งที่Durgapur และ เมืองสำมะโนประชากร 38 แห่ง (+1 แห่งบางส่วน) (แสดงบางส่วนในแผนที่ด้านข้าง สถานที่ทั้งหมดที่ทำเครื่องหมายไว้บนแผนที่เชื่อมโยงกันในแผนที่แบบเต็มหน้าจอ) [ 2 ]

ตามหมายเลขโทรศัพท์บนเว็บไซต์ ECL เหมืองถ่านหินที่ดำเนินการในพื้นที่ Jhanjra ของEastern Coalfieldsในปี 2018 ได้แก่ Main Incline, I & II Incline, I & B Incline และ 3 & 4 Incline [ 4 ]
โครงการจันจรา
