อำเภอพูรูเลียตั้งอยู่บริเวณที่ต่ำที่สุดของที่ราบสูงโชตานาคปุระ ภูมิประเทศโดยทั่วไปเป็นเนินเขาเตี้ยๆ กระจัดกระจาย ตำบล มันบาซาร์ซึ่งแสดงในแผนที่ด้านข้าง ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันออกของอำเภอ เป็นตำบลชนบทที่มีประชากรอาศัยอยู่มากถึง 96.32% และ 3.68% อาศัยอยู่ในเขตเมือง มีเมืองสำมะโน 3 แห่งในตำบลนี้ แผนที่แสดงให้เห็นอ่างเก็บน้ำโครงการคังสาบาติเขื่อนมุกุตมานิปุระอยู่ในอำเภอบังกุระ แต่ส่วนบนของอ่างเก็บน้ำอยู่ในตำบลมันบาซาร์ ซากปรักหักพังของวัดและเทวรูปเก่าแก่ก็พบได้ในตำบลนี้เช่นเดียวกับส่วนอื่นๆ ของอำเภอ ตำบลนี้มีสัดส่วนของชนชั้นวรรณะต่ำและชนเผ่าพื้นเมือง สูงมาก บล็อกพัฒนาชุมชนบันด์วันมีประชากรชนเผ่าพื้นเมือง 51.86% บล็อกพัฒนาชุมชนมันบาซาร์ที่ 2 มีประชากรชนเผ่าพื้นเมือง 48.97% บล็อก Manbazar I CD มี ST 22.03% และ SC 22.44% บล็อก Puncha CD มี ST 24.74% และ SC 14.54% [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ]ในปี 1911 H. ตามข้อมูลสำมะโนประชากรของอินเดียปี 2011คุรุคโตปามีประชากรทั้งหมด 2,964 คน โดยเป็นชาย 1,500 คน (51%) และหญิง 1,464 คน (49%) มีผู้ที่มีอายุระหว่าง 0-6 ปี จำนวน 394 คน และมีผู้รู้หนังสือในคุรุคโตปาทั้งหมด 1,480 คน (57.59% ของประชากรที่มีอายุมากกว่า 6 ปี) [ 6 ]
การศึกษา
วิทยาลัยอนุสรณ์สิตาราม มหาโตที่อนันดาทวีป คุรุคโตปา ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 2558 สังกัดมหาวิทยาลัยสิโธ คานโฆ บีร์ชาเปิดสอนหลักสูตรเกียรตินิยมในสาขาภาษาเบงกาลี สันตาลี อังกฤษ สันสกฤต ปรัชญา รัฐศาสตร์ ประวัติศาสตร์ ภูมิศาสตร์ มานุษยวิทยา และหลักสูตรทั่วไปด้านศิลปศาสตร์[ 7 ]
โรงเรียนมัธยมคุรุคโตปาเป็นโรงเรียนสหศึกษาที่ใช้ภาษาเบงกาลีเป็นสื่อการสอน ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2489 มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกสำหรับการสอนตั้งแต่ชั้น ป.5 ถึง ป.12 มีคอมพิวเตอร์ 17 เครื่องและห้องสมุดที่มีหนังสือ 700 เล่ม[ 8 ]
