ลินันทัส (Linanthus)เป็นสกุลของ พืช ล้มลุกและพืชยืนต้นในวงศ์ฟล็อกซ์(Polemoniaceae ) พบได้ในทวีปอเมริกาเหนือฝั่งตะวันตกและในประเทศชิลี โดยมีความหลากหลายมากที่สุดในรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย
ลำต้นตั้งตรง มีกิ่งก้านแตกออกมาจากโคนต้นหลายกิ่ง สูง 2–15 เซนติเมตรใบเป็นแบบใบเกาะลำต้น ( cauline ) และเรียงตรงข้ามกัน มีรูปร่างตั้งแต่ใบเรียบไปจนถึงใบหยักเป็นรูปฝ่ามือ โดยมี 3-9 แฉก เป็นรูปเส้นตรง รูปใบหอก หรือรูปช้อน ดอกมีกลีบ เลี้ยงเป็นรูปท่อ และกลีบดอกอาจมีรูปร่างเป็นรูปกรวย รูประฆัง หรือรูปจาน
ชื่อสกุลมาจากภาษากรีกที่แปลว่า "ดอกปอ" เนื่องจากดอกมีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกับดอกปอสกุลนี้เพิ่งถูกแบ่งแยก โดยหลายชนิดที่เคยอยู่ในสกุลนี้ถูกย้ายไปอยู่ในสกุลLeptosiphon ( Jepson Manual )
