โรงไฟฟ้าพลังความร้อนนอร์ทการันปุระ
NTPC Limited กำลังก่อสร้าง โรงไฟฟ้าพลังความร้อนนอร์ทการันปุระขนาด 3 x 660 เมกะวัตต์ที่เมืองทันดวา โดยมีต้นทุนที่ประเมินไว้ในปัจจุบัน (ปี 2015) อยู่ที่14,366.58 ล้านรูปี ( 143,665,800,000 ) [ 7 ]กำลังดำเนินการเพื่อให้หน่วยแรกของโรงไฟฟ้าพลังความร้อนนอร์ทการันปุระพร้อมใช้งานในปี 2021 [ 8 ]
การทำเหมืองถ่านหิน
แหล่งถ่านหิน นอร์ทคารันปุระครอบคลุมพื้นที่บางส่วนของเมืองรานชี ฮาซาริบาห์ ชาตรา และลาเตฮาร์ ในรัฐฌาร์ขันด์ ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ 1,230 ตาราง กิโลเมตรแหล่งถ่านหินแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่บริเวณต้นน้ำของหุบเขาดามอดาร์มีปริมาณสำรองถ่านหินประมาณ 14 พันล้านตัน ซึ่งยังไม่ได้ถูกนำมาใช้ประโยชน์มากนัก เหมืองถ่านหินเก่าแก่ทางใต้ของดามอดาร์ ได้แก่ คาร์คัตตา เคดี เฮซาลอง มันกี ชูรี บาชารา ยูจี บาชารา โอซี และดาคารา ส่วนทางเหนือของดามอดาร์มีเหมืองขนาดใหญ่ที่ค่อนข้างใหม่ เช่น เหมืองปิปาร์วาร์ และโครงการอโศกะ มีการวางแผนเหมือง 23 แห่งในภาคเหนือ เหมืองที่อยู่ในขั้นตอนการวางแผนขั้นสูง ได้แก่ ธาดุ ปุรณทิห์ มาคธ และอัมราปาลี ซึ่งถือเป็นภาคการทำเหมืองที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของบริษัทเซ็นทรัลโคลฟิลด์ส จำกัด[ 9 ]

การศึกษา
