XCB-01
XCB-01 (prefix XCB stands for Xe Chiến đấu Bộ binh, 'Infantry Fighting Vehicle - IFV') is a Vietnamese infantry fighting vehicle developed by Vietnam Defence Industry and assembled by Z189 Company.[1] First launched in 2022, it is the first tracked armored vehicle researched and manufactured domestically by Vietnam. The vehicle is largely based on the old Soviet BMP-1, but with revised hull designs and better defensive and offensive capabilities.[2]
Features
Maneuverability
Some of the first prototype were equipped with a Doosan DL08 engine. Due to its larger size, the engine bay have extend upward. This led to the limitation of shooting angle of the main cannon. This configuration was later abandoned.
Thanks for its upgraded engine, XCB-01 has a slightly-higher power-to-mass ratio nearly equivalent to the BMP-1 vehicle (23.1 hp/ton compared to 22.7 hp/ton). The XCB-01's suspension system is virtually the same as the BMP-1 with 6 drive wheels. Therefore, its maneuverability is supposedly comparable, if not better, to the BMP-1, despite featuring a bigger and heavier platform. The vehicle reaches a speed of about 65 km/h on flat roads and 45 km/h on bad terrain. The vehicle is capable of climbing steep slopes 0.7 m high, crossing ditches 2.5 m wide, slopes up to 30 degrees and can swim with speed of 7 km/h without prior preparation.[3]
Protection
The vehicle can resist armor-piercing 12.7mm bullets on the front of the vehicle's body. The remaining sides of the vehicle are bulletproof according to STANAG 4569 level 3 standards.
In addition to armor, the vehicle is also equipped with a 3-agent biological-chemical-radiological (NBC) protection system and a laser warning receiver (LWR), which can be used to activate smoke grenades in case the vehicle is targeted, or to obstruct enemies' observation.[4]
Firepower
ยานพาหนะคันนี้ติดตั้งอาวุธที่คล้ายกับ BMP-1 ปืนหลักคือ P-73-01 (HT-73-01) ซึ่งเป็นปืนลำกล้องเรียบ 2A28 ที่เวียดนามลอกเลียนแบบและปรับปรุงให้ทันสมัย สามารถทำลายยานพาหนะ ป้อมปราการ และทหารราบของศัตรูได้ในระยะไกลถึง 700 เมตร เมื่อเทียบกับ BMP-1 รุ่นดั้งเดิม XCB-01 มีความสามารถในการตรวจจับเป้าหมายได้ดีกว่า เนื่องจากติดตั้งระบบเล็งเป้าหมายแบบหลายช่องสัญญาณ 1PN22VN1 ที่พัฒนาและผลิตโดยสถาบันเทคโนโลยีประยุกต์ของเวียดนาม ( กระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ) ระบบเล็งเป้าหมายแบบหลายช่องสัญญาณรุ่นใหม่นี้ประกอบด้วย 4 ช่องสัญญาณ ได้แก่ ช่องสัญญาณกลางวัน ช่องสัญญาณเลเซอร์วัดระยะ ช่องสัญญาณภาพความร้อนอินฟราเรด และกล้อง CCD ทำให้สามารถตรวจจับเป้าหมายได้ในระยะไกลถึง 2,000 เมตรในทุกสภาพอากาศ[ 5 ]จากนั้นป้อมปืนจะถูกผลิตและประกอบที่โรงงาน Z125
สำหรับอาวุธรอง ยานพาหนะคันนี้ติดตั้งปืนกลร่วมแกนPKT ขนาด 7.62 มม. และ ปืนกลต่อต้านอากาศยานแบบ NSV ขนาด 12.7 มม. ที่ติดตั้งบนหลังคา นี่เป็นลักษณะเฉพาะของยานพาหนะ XCB-01 ซึ่งแตกต่างจากยานพาหนะต่อสู้ทหารราบใดๆ ที่ผลิตโดยสหภาพโซเวียตหรือรัสเซียก่อนหน้านี้ ภาพที่รั่วไหลบางส่วนยังแสดงให้เห็นว่า สามารถติดตั้ง สถานีอาวุธควบคุมระยะไกลได้ด้วย ปืนกล NSV และ PKT ผลิตในประเทศโดยโรงงาน Z111 [ 6 ]

ประวัติการดำเนินงาน
กล่าวกันว่า XCB-01 ได้รับการจัดแสดงเป็นครั้งแรกในงานASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) ครั้งที่ 30 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นในเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2022 ณ ศูนย์ฝึกอบรม VPA ในเมืองเหมียวมอนกรุงฮานอยหลังจากนั้น ภาพของรถที่กำลังทดสอบความสามารถในการว่ายน้ำก็ถูกโพสต์ลงในเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ของเวียดนาม ในปี 2023 รถ XCB-01 ปรากฏตัวในการฝึกยิงจริงที่มีชื่อรหัสว่า "DT-23" ซึ่งดำเนินการโดยกองทัพบกที่ 12ณ สนามยิงปืน TB1 เมื่อวันที่ 23 ธันวาคม[ 8 ]
มีการเปิดเผยต่อสาธารณะเป็นครั้งแรกในงาน Vietnam Defence Expo 2024 และมีการจัดแสดงต่อสาธารณะอีกครั้งในงานนิทรรศการความสำเร็จแห่งชาติ[ 9 ] [ 7 ]
